Simple Comforts

September 14 – November 13

The Sugar Creek Quilters Guild presents "Simple Comforts", a quilt show featuring art quilts, whimsical quilts, and just comfy lap quilts.  A challenge was issued to the guild two years ago to create a quilt for this show that depicted something that gives simple comfort.  The range of interpretation goes from using a loved ones ties or flannel shirts to presenting a representation of the wonder of nature.  Mark your calendar to visit this show.

A Place to Remember

July 23-September 25

“A Place to Remember” is now on display at the Rotary Jail Museum. Since the first day we have received great comments from the visitors. The selected artwork depicts historic buildings in Indiana including Crawfordsville’s Lane Place and William P. Herron Home. The Wabash County Courthouse and the President Benjamin Harrison Home are also on display. The works represent a wide range of techniques including acrylic, oil, photography, and ink. If have not come yet, do not miss it!
