Museum tours
We provide free tours to all Montgomery County schools.
In addition to touring the rotating cellblock, you can peek inside the sheriff’s residence at special exhibits of local art, historical collections and jail artifacts.
The cost of the tour is: $3 per adult $1 per child age 6 - 10 Children under 6 are free when accompanied by a paying adult
Tours generally last one hour but can be shortened to meet your needs. Large groups of 30 or more will be divided into smaller groups for the tour. Group tours are available outside regular visitor hours by appointment only. We request at least one week advance notice for appointments.
Tours in Spanish are available by appointment.
