Volunteer Highlight, Fall 2011 Kristina Johnson was a collections volunteer. She has interned at the Osborne Homestead Museum in Derby, Connecticut, and the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She also has experience writing for Examiner.com and worked as a Claims Analyst for ISGN. She recently moved to Indianapolis to begin graduate work in Museum Studies at IUPUI. In our museum, she worked with the collections under our curator's supervision. She organized and sorted the collections and cleaned out the collections room. She also worked on inventory. We appreciate Kristina’s efforts and thank her for her hard work!

Meet our VOLUNTEER OF SUMMER 2011 Grace Shelton
Grace is from Crawfordsville. She is a sophomore at Butler University, where she is studying political science with an art and design minor. Grace assisted us all summer with art related programs and tasks. Besides her help with the gift shop and exhibits, she was our second instructor for summer art camp teaching our campers different art projects, but she also had to clean and organize our art supplies dusty storage rooms, one in the basement of the Sheriff's residence, and another in the Center for the Arts. She worked for several days in both rooms, always with a big smile. After summer camp, Grace visited the local Crisis Shelter, as instructor of our Outreach Program that offers tile painting sessions for the residents of the center. Grace, you did a great job. THANK YOU for all your time, generosity, and great attitude, we will miss you, and we wish you all the best in your journey.
Thank you
